tonestar- the backplate bending is a good thing, iscg mounts are well known for snapping and cracking under heavy impact. i'd much rather ruin a 45 quid backplate which dissipates force by bending, than snap the mounts off a 2000 quid frame

That sucks, but the alps will be fun! The spectating at Redhill is really good I imagine because it's so open.

Yeah went to Hainult Country park yesterday, not really any technical stuff but fun single track, soo fast!!
It wasn't that muddy apart from one path where the bike got so muddy I had to stop every five yards to unclog the wheels lol.
Spent hours this morning cleaning it, I had to take the brake pads out to clean in side of the calipers ugh I hate mud.
Going to Chicksands next Sunday you free?
